Helping you live a healthier, active, more enjoyable lifestyle.
At Cheshunt Chiropractic clinic we help people overcome pain and improve their quality of life through effective treatment of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Conditions can range from back and neck pain, migraines and headaches, sports injuries, whiplash and poor posture.
These painful conditions are often a result of modern lifestyles and everyday activities. Our bodies simply aren’t designed to be used in the way that today’s world demands.
We offer a three-fold approach to good health, providing fast pain relief, corrective treatment and long-term preventative care.

Our Approach
We respond to our patient’s immediate concerns. This can be anything from immediate pain relief to increasing their mobility and helping them quickly return to a healthy active lifestyle.
To achieve this we follow a careful step-by-step process:
-
Uncover the underlying cause of your pain and any other symptoms
-
Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest possible results
-
Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
-
Explain the value of ongoing preventative and supportive care
Following the initial phase of your treatment, which is aimed at relieving your symptoms, we then continue to address any of the underlying problems behind them.
It is essential to make sure that these issues are thoroughly addressed. Most of us invariably will suffer from one or more of these conditions in our lifetime, and in many cases these become long-term reoccurring problems.
It is only by completely and thoroughly fixing the cause of your symptoms that you’ll be free of the pain and discomfort long term.
We encourage all our patients to achieve the highest possible levels of health. Through patient education we communicate the importance and value of on-going chiropractic care.
Our desire is to see our patients embrace the emerging preventative model of health that focuses on good lifestyle practices and health awareness.
We find that regular check-ups ensure that you enjoy the full benefits of chiropractic treatment. On-going correction helps you maintain good spinal health and mobility, which will allow you to live a healthier, fuller and more active life.

I work with patients from many walks of life, from OAPS and children to professional athletes. However people who suffer chronic pain and acute injury often do so as a result of their job. I came into this profession because I was inspired to help people suffering from pain and assist individuals in improving their quality of life. I take great personal satisfaction in the positive results we achieve here at the Cheshunt Chiropractic Clinic.
Chiropractice FAQ
A chiropractic adjustment is the art of using a specific low-force in a precise direction applied to a spinal segment (vertebrae) bone that is “stuck,” or not moving properly. This “adjustment” adds motion to the spinal joints, helping the bone gradually return to more normal motion and position. The chiropractor evaluates each patient’s unique symptoms and develops an individual treatment program. There are numerous types of different spinal adjustments that chiropractors use. Additionally, chiropractors will manipulate and adjust many other joints throughout the body, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, and knee.
No. Chiropractic therapy is generally not a painful procedure and your chiropractor will work sensitively with you to ensure that you remain comfortable throughout the process. Chiropractic is very safe. It avoids invasive procedures such as surgery or the use of drugs. Chiropractic care is a natural approach to improved health and pain relief that is proven to be safe and effective.
Yes. Having chiropractic treatment may still be possible. Chiropractors sometimes discover evidence of old and insignificant small spinal fractures many years after they occurred that the patient was never aware of! People who have had fractured limbs in particular may need chiropractic assessments because previous accidents may create additional spinal problems due to compensating factors with posture and mobility.
We care for patients who have had various types of previous spinal surgery, and with good results. Quite often patients are referred by their surgeon or consultant for rehabilitation and post-operative chiropractic care.
Pregnancy places additional weight and stress on women’s bodies. Chiropractic treatment can help relieve pregnancy-related lower back, pelvic (SPD), leg, neck and shoulder blade pain. Chiropractic treatment is safe and effective, and can be carried out throughout most of the pregnancy. An equally important time for women to visit a chiropractor is at the post natal stage. This will allow your chiropractor to check for any spinal problems caused by the pregnancy, birth, and post-natal care including feeding, etc.
